After the relentless personal attacks I have endured (from even my family members), solely on the basis of my not voting for Barack Obama and my choice to be (personally and politically) Conservative, in addition to the public maligning I am subjected to daily from Black liberals across the nation (who say I am a “sell out” because I am not a Democrat), I have to ask the question:

“What in the world is going on?!”

I then read about something called the “Stockholm Syndrome”.

I am now wondering if the masses of Liberal Black Americans are suffering from the Stockholm Syndrome?

The “Stockholm Syndrome” describes the behavior of kidnap victims who, over time, become sympathetic to their captors.

The name derives from a 1973 hostage incident in Stockholm, Sweden.

At the end of six days of captivity in a bank, several kidnap victims actually resisted rescue attempts, and afterwards refused to testify against their captors.

Is this the state or condition of Black liberal democrats? Let’s look at some of the symptoms of today’s Black liberal.

The Democrat Party enslaved Blacks. Republicans freed them. The Democrat Party lynched Blacks. The Republican Party passed anti lynching laws to stop it.

The Democrat Party filibustered against both the Voting Rights Act and the Civil Rights Act. The Republican Party passed both bills anyway.

The Democrat Party opposes parents having access to quality access to education. The Republican Party fights for school choice, no matter how much money parents do or don’t have.

The Democrat Party accuses the Republican Party of waging a “war on women”. The Republican Party continues to try to stop the Democrat Party from murdering millions of unborn Black babies!

The Democrat supports labor union racism against Blacks and women. The Republican Party has repeatedly tried to Repeal laws that allow these things to happen.

NEVERTHELESS, Blacks continue to call the Republican Party “racist” and any Black who chooses not to be a liberal Democrat is fiercely hated and even potentially in harm from Black liberals.

There is no other way to describe this mentality than that of the “Stockholm Syndrome”.

The former “negro” slaves who white liberals gave permission to be called “African-American” (because it still denies citizenship) is so in love with the slave master, he not only refuses to be free, he will seek and destroy any Black man and woman who attempts to show them what freedom can and should look and feel like!

So I ask the question, do Black Americans suffer from the Stockholm Syndrome?

I think the answer is overwhelming clear:

Black liberal Democrats do appear to suffer from Stockholm.

The only remaining questions are:

  • How can we deliver those from self imposed slavery who do not want to be free?
  • How can we save the generations of Black children who have been raised under this mindset?

I don’t know the answer to these questions, but when I figure it out, there is but one thing for me to:

Run for President!

  1. Excellent, excellent, excellent assessment Stacy!

    • First: I think you are absolutely right to challenge the right of people to assume that you should adopt a particular ideology because of your race. Second, there is much truth in what you say. But third, it is almost self-evident that any statement that tries to make a moral judgment about an entire group of people is having recourse to stereotypes that have been the source of much evil in our world. It is, incidentally, the basis of your complaint about those who question your decision to be a Black conservative.

I would also take issue with what I see as your romp through the historical record to “cherry pick” facts to support your own political views. You sound like a well-educated man so certainly you know that the Democratic Party you identify with lynching and slavery was the party of the confederacy. The party that represents the former slave and lynching states is now Republican. It is disingenuous and lacking in candor, not to point that out and deal with it in your comments. It is also deceptive to imply that Republicans alone voted to support the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and the Voting Rights Act of 1965 when I think you well know that both parties voted overwhelmingly in support of these two measures. You also fail to mention the many efforts of some people in the Republican Party to repeal the Civil Rights Act, the Voting Rights Act, and the 14th amendment. You might also want to compare the life expectancy, poverty rates, unemployment rates, fetal mortality rates, and infant mortality rates, for Blacks in the states that voted for Romney during that last election with those in the states that voted for Obama. I share your concerns about abortion, although I reject the idea of government regulation because I believe that we accomplish more through love than through the exercise of power and force. But I also believe we should not think only of abortion when we have high levels of fetal death and infant mortality.

You would be hard put to argue that the party of Truman which was the first to integrate the military or Lyndon Johnson who pushed through the civil rights act of 1964 and the voting rights act of 1965 or Hubert Humphrey was unconcerned with social justice as applied to all citizens… (Perhaps you would argue that integration of the military was simply a way to kill off Blacks, Negroes, African Americans, Colored people or more simply just some of our fellow citizens, whichever you prefer. I hope you are not that cynical.)
Finally, I think you do the same disservice to your fellow citizens that you claim that they do to you by impugning their motives, ridiculing them and treating them like children incapable of making reasoned judgments and victims of a slave mentality if they disagree with you.
I would be happy to discuss this further if you like.

For many they have also transferred having relationships with spouses, mother and fathers and relatives to relating to celebrity and dependence unto a GOVT from where they know there is no accountability or expectations ever to be met, and it is there where they find safety from ever having to know our be held accountable to their faults, guilts, regrets and to a GOD that haunts them daily and thus they self medicate to become numb to the responsibility that they know full well is theirs to account to! The vast majority that live like this and bring children into this, if allowed to live if only to bring more GOVT money, know the guilt well and it is becoming inter-generational and we are quickly creating the generation of late that will not even know GOD, know their Nation, know freedom or liberty and will be nothing more than the animal reaction of survival and lustful satisfaction, and for that I blame our Church Communities and our Public Education above all, for without a foundation of moral rights and wrongs and a RULE of LAW then we are but mere sport for elites and politicians to see what we will do next and soon will gladly allow a dictator so not even have to show up to vote for all the bother that it involves…..TO THINK!!

KKKonservatives and their pathetic attempts at projection.

  4. Paul says:

Jesse, what you are seeing is the true character of those who claim to be the face of “compassion” and “goodness” when in reality they are full of the worst kind of seething hatred for others and vicious cruelty towards them. They use their false beliefs and hypocritical mantras as a covering for their wickedness. That is why they are glued to the evil that is destroying the – because just like their evil masters who control their minds the one thing they cannot stand is the truth that exposes them for what they are. They are united in their hatred for that.
